S.K.A.M : Producer, DJ and A&R Manager "Forza Records" (www.forzarecords.com).. .. Name – Maxim .. Date of birth: 11.10.1982. .. “……………………..Music is eternity, life is just a moment”, - that what can be referred straight to S.K.A.M. without any exaggerations. .. Maxim started his way to success in the middle 90’s. He has got great interest in music in his early childhood already, starting listening electronic music being just 12 years old. However, he produced his first ever track at 15. His performance – is a real work of art, where each of his slight movements can add a unique tone to the whole set’s tune, driving his fans or just casual witnesses of his talent, up to the skies. S.K.A.M. recommends himself as a DJ and musician with his individual style, which can be recognized by a skillful listener with the very first sound. But what is really worth paying attention – it’s his performance’ materials. It’s always fresh and rare selection.
Maxim never resorts to main stream hits. Tracks that he offers in exchange, may be unknown but always accept by the audience with the flash of excitement. He always follows the way the club music develops, that’s why his sound is always unique and actual. .. In the period from 1997 to 2001 Maxim preferred to listen House and Speed Garage music, and closer to 2002 he gradually came to Progressive House. Beginning from 1999, his constant interest to music is turning into something much bigger and in 2002, S.K.A.M. started to work over his own tracks. Maxim takes only the very best from the music industry and its history and uses it as a base for his remixes, combining such styles as house, progressive house, tech-house, techno. .. S.K.A.M. recently started releasing. His works written in 2005-20006 period then were released on “Flash Records” label, based by DJ Flash from Moscow city. And now these tracks are all available to download in all the biggest on-line stores over the world, such as: BEATPORT, JUNO, 3 BEAT, DJ DOWNLOAD, AUDIOJELLY, IMO DOWNLOAD, TRAX 2 BURN, RELEASE RECORDS, MAGNETIC GROOVES, DANCE - TUNES, RECORDINGS.RU. .. In 2006, S.K.A.M. produces track-remixes on «Electric Waves" и "The Second Breath" by Freza & DJ Flash. These tracks were released on "F & F Records". And in 2008 he released all his works, written during 2007. At that time, S.K.A.M. is whitening his music together with DJ Danila as a member of “Dub Town” project. The art of this couple deserved a great support from Dj societies and musicians from Russia and Europe. Being the member of the “Dub Town” project, S.K.A.M. also makes remix on "Groovy House" by Freza & DJ Flash, which later was released on the label of well-known DJ and producer Karim Haas - “Synergy Recordings" in Spain and also had got a big portion of admire, recalls and support. In 2007 S.K.A.M. makes a release of «Freak out Of You EP" on "Moscow Dancefloor Records" label. After that he makes remix on the sensational "Pleasure Me" track by British cult producer D. Ramirez and Bobrov Dmitry. .. Now, Maxim works with such labels as: “Flash Records”, “Mediadrive Records”, “X-Mode Records”, “Carica Records”, “Synergy Recordings”, “Baroque Records”, and “Forza Records”. .. S.K.A.M. works are taking a worthy place in sets and charts of the world famous DJs and radio stations all over the world. Even Pete Tong by himself didn’t leave S.K.A.M.’s music without paying attention as one of his songs was added into his compilation on the BBS Radio 1 show in UK. Maxim’s works got support already from such people, as: Pete Tong, Habersham, Wally Lopez, Rob Mooney, Belocca, Gaz James, Luke Porter, Rhythm Code, Tim Cook, David Sense, Dan Welton, Rene Amesz, James Zabiela, James Talk, Plastik Funk, Granite and Phunk, Thomas Gold, Beckers, Christian Sol, Sonny Wharton, James Fitch, Nick K, Matt Samuels, Infinitize and many, many other. His performance on the same stage with such musicians as Micky Slim, Jon Gurd, Dave Robertson, Barry Gilbey, Rhythm Code, - speaks for itself. .. In the beginning of 2008 Maxim gets acquainted with the representative of “Carica Records” label Tatyana Zolotuhina (aka 5uN5h1.ne), owing to what S.K.A.M. becomes the co-owner of a "Forza Records" label – a part of “Carica Music Group”. .. The very label is directed on releasing of tech house, progressive house music in all its displays, it also can be both: deep tech and tech progressive and even minimal sometimes. The label releases are on sale worldwide at present time, let alone such giant-stores as Juno or Beatport. They also try to co-operate with all other musicians from other labels which are the part of "updated" “Carica”. The first release of "Forza Records" has taken place on the 16th of June. Such known producers of the European scene as Toni Rios (Kompakt, Cocoon, Kling Klong, Soap, Boxer Recordings), Javy Union (Plain (Spain)) and also the young minimalist-experimenter from Portugal Ludovic, - all of them have taken part in quality remixes for the debut release. While the release had been preparing, KOMPAKT (Germany) label, came out with a suggestion to republish it on his sub-label "SOAP". Undoubtedly, it was a vinyl. .. It was already a good indicator and a wide step forward, as not everyone managed to be released on vinyl. It is also necessary to notice, that at present time they have started two radio-shows of their own from the label on the on-line radio stations. The first one is "Forza Session" on ETN FM (Canada) with Sasha Bass (Russia) and Rhythm Code (UK) as leaders. The second one is «Forza Records Session" on Pure FM (USA) with S.K.A.M. as a resident. There is a perfect team, gathering on the "Forza Records", including a big number of Western artists of the label. Among them are: Rhythm Code (UK), Rick Nicholls (aka Middleman) (UK), Simon. S (Poland), Tyler Hampton (USA), Daniel Kyo (Spain), Alex Costa (Italy), Benn Lian (Belgium), Deo and Z - man (Germany), Haydn! (UK), DownKill (Hungary), Masque (Chile), Javy Union (Spain) and many others, not including the Russian musicians. .. It is also important that Maxim & Tatyana started to bring the western actors (and not only western) of the label to Russia. Their first “transfer” were the English “Rhythm Code”, who visited Moscow for the first time ever in autumn of 2008. And it’s only beginning, as there is a huge number of such “transfers” with very interesting names is waiting to come. .. Now Maxim is a teacher in the first ever official Russian DJ-academy "Pioneer". He also continues his fruitful working process in music writing. S.K.A.M. prepares some separate new projects in the nearest future. Big plans are ahead. .. S.K.A.M.
